The Dowen College students' rendition of 'Morountodun' was nothing short of spectacular. On November 28, 2025, the school's Olumide Phillips Hall was abuzz with excitement as the young thespians brought Femi Osofisan's timeless classic to life. The play, a powerful tale of courage and self-discovery, featured Moremi, the fearless queen of Ile-Ife, and Titubi, a modern young woman who discovers her inner strength. The performance attracted a diverse audience, including parents, guardians, and drama enthusiasts, all captivated by the students' talent and dedication. The director, Judith Bada, praised the cast's hard work, which began in May and culminated in a stunning production. She urged the students to build on their success, highlighting the potential of some to become world-class actors. The Principal, Dr. Adebisi Layiwola, shared her delight, commending the director's vision and the students' ability to embody their roles.
